Embers Coffee is about community, not money. That is why we are a nonprofit company that also gives back 5% of our net profits to our community. OUR heart is to create a space that loves our community, creates jobs, welcomes everyone and provides bomb coffee. That’s it.

Social Connection
We know that loneliness is an epidemic and it is still increasing for Gen Z, at least. While we sell coffee Embers desires to offer a gathering space (and events & programs) to rekindle the human connection in our community. Having a place to gather, meet others, hang out and serve as a hub is something our community has need for. We hope to provide it.
Personal & Corporate Growth
Growth & development should not be for those in school or end when we graduate. Life is a journey and we can learn so much from each other. We desire to be a conduit for growth in our city. From hosting speakers, seminars or conferences, we aim to support others in learning in many areas of life including: personal & business finances, healthy relationships, parenting, skill & leadership training, personal health and more. Add to this, we will be making our conference room and recording studio for public use.
A Creative Space
Creativity is often overlooked, but we believe it is an essential in life. While Embers will not have the capacity to engage all areas of creativity, we do hope to inspire and engage the community in the areas of digital creativity: photography, videography, podcasting, web-development, etc. We want to do this through the creation of a local podcast network, media oriented trainings and the availability of our recording studio. Beyond our programs, the coffee we serve & our brand as a whole hopes to inspire our community toward high-quality creativity.
GRANTS & GIVING BACK
We know that finances are often a barrier to the development of a city and community. Because of this, Embers Coffee will donate 5% of net profits every month directly toward other local nonprofits and community development programs. As we grow, we are also endeavoring to create a scholarship program for students to continue their education and a grant program to support the funding of local businesses & start-ups.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Community Development is the practice of taking on activities that provide basic services to communities to make them more livable and sustainable. This is the heart of Embers Coffee beyond the coffee. We care about our city & community and we are committed to developing it into a place that is the best it can be.
